Craig Powers named VP of Operations for Southwest Group Cameron
He’ll oversee Cameron Broadcasting’s 6-station cluster in southern Nevada, serving the tri-state area of California, Nevada and Arizona. Those stations are Country KFLG; Top 40 KNNK “The Knack”; Classic Rock KLUK “Lucky 98”; Talk simulcast KAAA & KZZZ; and AC KFLG-AM “K-Star.” He has been with the company as OM since March 2008. Previously, Powers programmed Top 40 KEZY AM & FM and Country KIKF-FM, in Anaheim, as well as stations in Las Vegas, and he was also an on air personality at KIIS Los Angeles for many years. On the label side, he’s worked as West Coast Director of promotion for Curb Records Nashville.
