Cristina Radio, from National Latino Broadcasting, launches on Sirius XM
National Latino Broadcasting (NLB) brings Latin icon Cristina Saralegui to Sirius XM via Cristina Radio, which debuts Thursday, January 12. The new satellite channel is one of two via an alliance between the companies. Journalist and longtime media host Saralegui is a household name in the Latin community. Her “El Show de Cristina” remains the most successful Spanish-language TV talker ever; while last October, she returned to the tube with the two-hour weekly “Pa'lante con Cristina,” on Telemundo.The 24/7Cristina Radio, on Sirius XM channel 146,includes “Cristina Entre Amigos,” a weekly one-hour live broadcast addressing social issues; alongside a morning talk show and numerous lifestyle and current events programs targeting the Hispanic marketplace. NLB also debuts the 24/7 En Vivoon Sirius XM this week, featuring top-charting Latin hits and live musical performances.
