Cumulus CFO Marty Gausvik leaves after 9 years
He’s been the Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer alongside Lew Dickey since May 2000, and now the Atlanta-based Cumulus Media says he has resigned to pursue other opportunities. It doesn’t specify what those might be. Gausvik was a VP of Finance at Jacor until its merger into Clear Channel in 1999. Current Cumulus VP and Controller J.P. Hannan will step into the Interim CFO role. Before joining Cumulus, he was the CFO of Lincoln Financial’s radio group and a member of the board of Regent Communications. Cumulus just negotiated an important amendment to its agreement with lenders, and Gauvik was part of the team that worked on that.
