Cumulus lays off KLOS, Los Angeles PD Bob Buchmann & legendary jock Jim Ladd
Cumulus had mostly held off making changes at the L.A. cluster it inherited from Citadel Broadcasting, until today. Now it's let PD Bob Buchmann go at classic rock KLOS (95.5), after 2-1/2 years. Also gone - KLOS evening personality Jim Ladd, the inspiration for Tom Petty's 2002 song and album titled "The Last DJ." The Los Angeles Board of Radio-Info.com has taken up the topic, here.
