Dallas watches the stunting at 93.3, and speculates about "KLIF-FM"

The call letters for “KLIF-FM” were reserved by Cumulus Media Partners on Monday, it turns out. Its KDBN, Haltom City, TX (93.3) is suddenly the focus of many format rumors. Radio-Info hears the on-air stunting has touched on smooth jazz (long missing in the market), classic country, CHR and talk, via airchecks of sister KLIF/1190. KDBN dropped its “Bone” classic rock stance for its most recent adult alternative format only in April. In the three most recent PPM monthlies, “Quality Rock 93.3” has moved 0.7 to 0.4 to 0.5, age 6+ AQH share. The rumor-sharing on the Dallas Board of Radio-Info is in high gear, here.
