Dave Ross gets a partner at Seattle talker KIRO-FM: Luke Burbank
Ross has worked solo for 23 years at KIRO, mostly in the late morning slot. The Seattle-market Blatherwatch says Bonneville just made the announcement internally about the new "Dave Ross & Luke Burbank Show." Management has tried out other potential teammates for Ross, including Nicole Brodeur of the Seattle Times, but the Ross-Burbank pairing had the right chemistry. There had been some local speculation about whether Ross would remain at KIRO, but this announcement should silence that. Burbank has worked in both commercial and non-commercial radio, and once did evenings for KIRO.
