Dave Wellington is out as PD of Washington's "DC-101"
Dave Wellington leaves Clear Channel Washington-Baltimore after just over two years at the helm of rock “DC101” WWDC-FM and “Jack FM” WQSR-FM (102.7) in Baltimore. Wellington tells Radio-Info, “The split was amicable. We both decided it was the time after 25 months.” He is currently “looking at all available programming and on-air opportunities, both within Clear Channel and at other broadcasting companies.” No replacement has been named at either DC101 or Jack. Wellington was previously the PD of rock stations WBCN-FM (104.1) in Boston and KXTE-FM (107.5) in Las Vegas. You can reach out to him at davewellington1@gmail.com.
