Day 2 of the May PPMs, and CHR KDWB, Minneapolis is #1 for the first time in its history
The Clear Channel CHR has often been sighted around the #3 spot, below classic rock KQRS and news/talk WCCO. But in the just-released May PPM numbers from Arbitron, KDWB (101.3) is first in the age 6+ AQH shares with an 8.9. That’s ahead of Citadel’s classic rock KQRS with an 8.5 share and country “K102” KEEY with an 8.2. Eight other Day 2 PPM markets are out – Boston, Detroit, Miami, Seattle, Phoenix, San Diego, Tampa and Denver. Those markets, with share and cume, are available along with Wednesday’s Day 1 markets (NYC, L.A., Chicago, etc.) on the Ratings Page of Radio-Info, here.
