Day 3 Arbitron PPMs for Portland, Charlotte, Pittsburgh and more
In Portland, Oregon: There's a new #1, muscling past Clear Channel's AC "K103" KKCW, and it's a sister station. Classic hits KLTH marches ahead 5.5-6.4-8.1 in the last three months. K103 goes 8.6-7.9-7.7, among age 6+ listeners. Country looks strong this month, especially Alpha Broadcasting's KUPL (5.1-5.5-6.1 since the March PPMs). KUPL now ranks third overall. Entercom's country KWJJ has grown 3.8-4.3-4.4
In Charlotte: Country stations remain 1-2. Clear Channel's "Kat" WKKT trends 8.2-9.0-8.5, while CBS Radio's WSOC is on a steady 8.0-7.9-7.9 line. Clear Channel's rhythmic "Channel 961" WIBT improves 3.4-4.2-4.7, and is tied for ninth place.
In Pittsburgh: Two Clear Channel stations remain locked at the very top of the rankings. Rocker WDVE has traveled 9.1-8.6-9.2, while CHR "Kiss" WKST has grown 8.2-8.6-9.1. Frischling-owned variety hits "Bob" WRRK is third, 7.2-7.1-7.1.
Sacramento, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Orlando and Columbus are also out on Day 3 of the May PPMs - available right now on the Ratings Page of Radio-Info.com, here.
