Delmarva's oldies WAMS (1590) moves to a full-power FM signal
The WAMS call letters once belonged to a Top 40 station in Wilmington, Delaware (WAMS/1380). More recently, the calls were on the 1590 AM in Ocean City, Maryland. Now they belong to Epcot Broadcasting's 101.1 FM in Snow Hill, MD, the former WQMR. John "The Nearly Famous Guy" in middays, Dave Bartley in afternoons and
Jason Allen from 6pm to midnight. Meanwhile, the WQMR calls move to 1590, which becomes "Hot Talk", with a lineup that includes Dennis Miller and Laura Ingraham. 1590 is also simulcasting on Edgewater Broadcasting's FM translator at 104.3 in Ocean Pines, W282AW.
