Dennis Glasgow heads back to Portland to program talk KPAM (860)
Former Washington, DC Red Zebra Broadcasting VP/Operations Dennis Glasgow is heading home to Portland, Oregon for a new challenge. Glasgow, who formerly ran Portland's all-sports KFXX-AM (1080) will now take over as PD of Pamplin Broadcasting's KPAM-AM (860), along with sister-station adult standards KKAD-AM "Sunny" (1550). Glasgow tells Radio-Info his focus will be "getting KPAM on the map. There's no news/talk station that dominates the landscape. I'm looking to give KPAM a very local presence - a heavy digital and online presence." Glasgow and his family were able to move back into the home they had in Portland prior to his move to Washington, DC. Currently, KPAM has local hosts Bob Miller in mornings 5am-9am and Victoria Taft from 11am-3pm, along with syndicated talk shows including Michael Savage, Hugh Hewitt and Neal Boortz. You can listen to KPAM here.
