Denver's "Ticket" cuts Lombardi & Miller from mornings
KDSP-FM (102.3) "The Ticket" is preparing for its new affiliation with ESPN Radio, which begins January 1. As a part of that move, the morning team of KCNC-TV sports anchors Vic Lombardi and Gary Miller will be dropped at the end of December. KDSP is adding the syndicated Mike & Mike in the Morning, followed by ESPN's Colin Cowherd from 9am-12pm. The current mid-afternoon team of Les Shapiro & JoJo will stay between 12pm-3pm, along with C.J. Johnson & Nate Kreckman during afternoon drive. ESPN programs will round out the evenings and overnight time slots. Lincoln Financial's KEPN-AM (1600) "ESPN Radio 1600" will lose Cowherd and their ESPN programming at the end of the year. KEPN is preparing to release their new, non-ESPN, lineup within the next two weeks. You can listen to "102.3 The Ticket" here.
