Dial Global looks at its combined workforce of about 600, lays off about 33
Last Friday, Dial Global merged with Westwood One, and Radio-Info.com hears there were perhaps 33 layoffs today, mostly concentrated in the New York, Dallas and Los Angeles offices. The cuts were made from both sides of the new family, from Westwood and the original Dial Global. Among the names in the rumor mill: Lynn McIntosh, Mark Feather and Rich Rapiti. This was the first day of trading for the stock that is now trading on the NASDAQ as "DIAL", and you can follow the action here.
