Dial Global picks up two more programers
Programming veterans John St. John and Gary Thompson join Dial Global. This morning’s Taylor on Radio-Info reports that both gentlemen worked at the company before, either at predecessor Jones (St. John) or at Dial Global (Thompson). Longtime KYGO, Denver PD John St. John will focus on country, as the new head of Dial Global’s “Classic Country” 24/7 offering. He’ll also work with Dial Global’s localized country formats in Omaha. Gary Thompson will be the programmer for the syndicated version of “Jack FM” and for “SAM” – which stands for Simply About Music. He most recently programmed in Dallas at Cumulus Media’s classic rock “Bone” KDBN (93.3).
