Dr. Drew Pinsky's Loveline returns to NYC – now on rock WRXP-FM (101.9)
The last time "Loveline" was on the air in New York, it was on CBS Radio's "Free FM" WFNY-FM (92.3), and was hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky and Adam Carolla. Following an absence of several years, Dr. Drew is returning to New York radio, and bringing his Loveline show to Emmis' rock WRXP-FM (101.9). It is now co-hosted by Los Angeles KROQ-FM (106.7) DJ and one-time Dancing With The Stars contestant Mike Catherwood. WRXP-FM PD Leslie Fram says, “Dr. Drew's credibility and Mike’s personality are a perfect match for our nightly programming." Loveline, which originates in Los Angeles and is syndicated by Westwood One, will debut on "101.9 RXP" on June 8. The New York Board of Radio-Info.com is talking about the local history of the show about "sex, relationships and health."
