Ed Gursky retires from the Voice of America as Chief of Music Branch
Much of what the rest of the world knows about American music, it knows from listening to VOA, where Gursky has also been operations manager of VOA's Music Mix Network. He retired Friday after more than 20 years at VOA and six years at the FCC. On the commercial radio side, Gursky worked in Pittsburgh (the original "13Q") and WWSW-AM; in Annapolis (WYRE); and in Washington, D.C. (WEAM, WPGC, WCXR and "Arrow 94.7" WARW). Gursky is at 301-509-1900 and EdGursky@msn.com.
