Elvis Duran to host this year's NAB Marconi Awards Show in Chicago
The Z100, New York-based syndicated talent is the latest in a line of both local and syndicated hosts for the dress-up awards dinner. Ron Chapman of Dallas was last year's host in Washington, DC, and previous hosts include Laura Ingraham (2009), Billy Bush (2008), Glenn Beck (2007) and L.A.'s Big Boy (2006). Duran's 30-year career includes both airwork and programming. He's been based at Clear Channel's Z100 since 1996, and went into syndication with Premiere in 2009. The affiliate list is now at more than 30 stations. The 2011 NAB Marconi Awards dinner and show is Thursday, September 15 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, as part of the September 14-16 combined RAB/NAB Radio Show.
