Emmis and Mancow settle the suit over his exit from Q101, Chicago
Emmis Communications didn't renew the contract of Erich "Mancow" Muller at modern rock WKQX (101.1) in July 2006, and the following year he filed suit for $6 million. As Robert Feder reports in Time Out Chicago, Mancow alleged that the company's executives had made "false and disparaging statements" about him and impaired his ability to find other work in Chicago. He still does his syndicated morning show for Talk Radio Network and he appeared in a late-morning show on Citadel's talk WLS-AM (890) for 16 months, from late 2008 to early 2010. Now Feder says "Mancow Muller has quietly settled his legal dispute with Emmis." Terms were not disclosed, but Muller says "I feel wonderful about my life in every way."
