England gets its second "Jack FM" station
Original FM (106.5) in Bristol, England was given approval by broadcast regulator OFCOM to change format about a month ago. That change came Sunday morning, when the Jack-FM format made its debut. The move follows the highly successful debut of Jack-FM in Oxfordshire two years ago, and days after PRO, which operates Jack-FM in Oxfordshire, and SparkNet Communications announced a licensing agreement. Ian Walker, the GM of Jack-FM Oxfordshire, tells Radio Today UK, “we are looking forward to assisting 106 JACKfm in Bristol put the fun and creativity and back into radio in Bristol.” 106.5 Jack-FM Bristol is streaming online.
