Entercom Inks New Multi-Year Partnership With NFL Buffalo Bills
Entercom scored a touchdown with its multi-year partnership to broadcast all Buffalo Bills football games on the market’s all-sports WGR (550 AM), beginning with the upcoming 2012 season. The Buffalo Bills Radio Network will also be heard on Entercom’s WCMF (96.5 FM) and WROC (950 AM) in the Rochester market, as well as 19 additional radio outlets throughout New York state. Entercom is no stranger to Bills’ coverage: Its WBEN was the team’s flagship from 1979-1989 and 1994-1997. In addition to live game broadcasts, the stations will broadcast the live Head Coach Show, General Manager Show, Bills player programming and a live Bills CEO Show where fans ask questions and interact with chief Russ Brandon. The CEO noted, “Teaming with a powerful local brand like Entercom is a tremendous way for us to reach a wide variety of listeners, from teenagers and their families to seasoned sports enthusiasts alike.”
