Entercom names new market managers in Austin and Milwaukee
The announcements are related, since current Milwaukee manager Alan Kirshbom is re-locating to Austin. Kirshbom has worked for Entercom since 2001 and he moved to Milwaukee in 2004 as director of sales. He became VP/Market Manager in 2005. Replacing him in Milwaukee, where the cluster includes AC WMYX/99.1, is Michael Keck. Keck returns to the company where he once managed in Madison (2000-2003) and Kansas City (2003-3007). He’s most recently been in sales and management positions with Adams Outdoor and Clear Channel Outdoor. The reason for the market manager opening in Austin? Radio-Info can report that Nancy Vaeth-DuBroff has exited. The onetime Susquehanna President/COO had managed Austin (including AC “Majic 95.5” KKMJ) since October 2008.
