Entravision-owned LER Spanish rep firm expands with a new unwired network
Entravision recently bought out LER partner and station owner Lotus Communications, and announces an ambitious new unwired network, building on its current platform of more than 155 represented radio stations, plus 75 websites and mobile platforms. LER says the new "LER Network" will reach 70% of all U.S. HIspanic radio listeners, and that some early blue-chip advertisers include Wrigley/MYM Mars. LER rep firm President Phillip Woodie says "The timing for this new unwired network is ideal, given the burgeoning growth of the Hispanic marketplace across the U.S., the integral role of radio in Hispanics' day-to-day lives, and the need of advertisers to more effectively reach Hispanic consumers." The LER lineup includes stations owned by Border Media Partners, Bustos Media, Lazer Broadcasting, MVS, Tejas Broadcasting, The Imagen Group, plus Lotus and Entravision itself.
