Erica Farber joins the RAB, Sheila Kirby leaves for a senior post at CBS
The third name in today's high-level announcement is RAB veteran Ron Ruth, who will take on a consulting role for the association he has served for many years. At the top of today's announcement Former R&R publisher, major-market GM and rep-firm executive Erica Farber joins the Radio Advertising Bureau as Executive VP. She will oversee the Membership, Professional Development and Services units, in a realignment of responsibilities. Farber will report to RAB President/CEO Jeff Haley. He says "We are at a pivotal time as we look to serve the industry and ensure our product offerings meet the demands of an evolving medium. There's no better executive for the role than Erica." At the same time, current RAB executive and longtime rep-firm professional Sheila Kirby is leaving to join CBS Radio as Senior VP of Sales Training and Development.
