Escarsega exits CBS Radio Los Angeles
After 20 years with KLSX, Ron Escarsega is leaving the station, the building, and CBS Radio. With KLSX becoming “Amp 97.1”- his position overseeing weekend programming and being the facilities manager has been eliminated. This morning’s Taylor on Radio-Info reports that over the course of his 20 years there, Escarsega has served as ops manager (during the Howard Stern/Tom Leykis talk days), handled sports liaison with the teams, as well as been the facilities manager for all five CBS stations in that space. Reach Ron at Ronescarsega@sbcglobal.nett and 213-718-1514.
