"ESPN 1420" Honolulu owner Duane Kurisu doubles up
Kurisu is paying Ohana Broadcast Company $250,000 cash for the 10-kw KUMU-AM. The station’s been simulcasting Ohana’s recently-installed “Old School” rhythmic AC KUMU-FM (94.7), which just won the 25-54 crown in the Honolulu Spring Arbitron, and placed second with age 12+ AQH share. Ohana is a successor company of Visionary Related Entertainment, which split up its Hawaii stations earlier this year.
