Ezra Kucharz is the new President of CBS local digital media

CBS’s newly-formed local broadcasting business segment now has a new person at the top. Ezra Kucharz was the President and GM of the IAC and Dow Jones personal finance joint venture, FiLife.com. Kucharz will be responsible for conceiving and executing the Company’s local online media strategy utilizing the combined assets and digital operations of CBS’s 29 television stations and CBS Radio’s 36 news, sports and talk stations. Kucharz officially joins CBS on February 16. Kucharz’s background includes time as an EVP with Oberon Media, and worked with NBC Universal, as well as the Managing Director of Advanced Media for the United States Tennis Association.
