"Fan" WJFK-FM is the new flagship for Washington Nationals baseball
The rumored move has become official as CBS Radio announces its all-sports station in Washington, DC is the new flagship radio home for the Washington Nationals. WJFK-FM (106.7) "The Fan" signs a multi-year deal, and will keep Charlie Slows and Dave Jageler in the broadcast booth. CBS Radio SVP/Market Manager Sam Rogers says, "We look forward to being a part of the resurgence of major league baseball in D.C." CBS Radio says some games will also air on sister-station WHFS-AM (1580), and all games will be simulcast on Bonneville's WFED-AM (1500), the former Nats flagship station.
