FCC forces KBYI to change signal; Canada's CFMX and CFMZ split
In Rexburg, Idaho, KBYI, which airs religious and classical programming based out of its studios at Brigham Young University Idaho branch, is being forced to move from 100.5, a class C1 signal its occupied for 24 years, to 94.3, currently occupied by Sand Hill Media's AC KSNA. Read the Idaho Falls Post Register story. In other signal changes - in Canada, the CRTC approves a simulcast split for Classical CFMX (96.3) Toronto, and CFMZ, Cobourg, Ontario. The two will continue air the same programming, but now will be able to air separate commercials.
