First June PPMs from 12 markets
New York – Clear Channel's AC "Lite" WLTW is consistent as usual: 7.0–6.6–6.6 since the April book. Classic hits WCBS-FM no longer has to share second place (5.3–4.9–5.4). And Clear Channel's rhythmic WKTU goes 4.6–4.9–5.1 — just a fraction ahead of sister CHR Z100, 4.8–5.0–5.0.
Los Angeles – Clear Channel sweeps the top three spots. Top 40 "Kiss-FM" KIIS-FM holds in first place, 5.2–5.4–5.4. Talk KFI is second (4.5–4.9–4.8). Soft AC KOST is third (4.4–4.3–4.3). Nice month for CBS Top 40 "Amp 97.1" KAMP-FM, tied with CBS Radio's classic hits KRTH in fourth place.
Chicago – It may have a target on its back from a Merlin Media FM, but CBS Radio's all-news WBBM-AM is once again #1, 5.2–5.6–5.6. Clear Channel's urban AC "V103" WVAZ is second, 5.4–5.2–5.2. Cubs baseball flagship WGN, owned by Tribune, is third, 5.4–5.0–5.0.
San Francisco – It's KQED (6.6–5.9–6.5). CBS Radio's KCBS (6.3–6.3–6.1). Then Clear Channel's rhythmic "Wild" KYLD (4.2–4.7–4.8) and Cumulus Media Partners' sports KNBR (4.4–4.2–4.8) tied for third. KNBR carries the defending World Series Champion Giants.
