First October PPMs from Arbitron – L.A. talker KFI is #1
Clear Channel sisters KFI and CHR KIIS-FM switch places in Los Angeles. KFI rises 5.3–5.6. "Kiss FM" moves 5.6–5.3.
New York City: Clear Channel #1 AC "Lite" WLTW has moved 6.2–5.8–5.7, with age 6+ AQH share. In the all-news faceoff, Yankees flagship WCBS-AM has moved 3.9–4.1–3.6. CBS Radio sister "1010 WINS" has moved up and down, 3.2–4.2–3.5. Merlin Media challenger "FM News 101.9" WEMP has gone 1.1 (as it transitioned out of adult alternative WRXP) to 0.5 to 0.4.
Chicago: CBS Radio's all-news WBBM, now simulcast on 105.9 FM, is a clear #1 at a 6.6 share. Tribune talker and Cubs baseball flagship WGN is second, 5.5–5.4. Clear Channel's urban AC "V103" WVAZ, is third, 5.5–5.2.
