For Thanksgiving, "Alice's Restaurant" is serving up a holiday treat
The 17-minute story-song written and recorded by Arlo Guthrie decades ago still appears on some rock and adult alternative stations, as a Thanksgiving classic. The New York Daily News says local non-com WFUV (90.7) and Clear Channel's classic rock "Q104.3" WAXQ will both feature "Alice's Restaurant" in the noon hour today (12/24).
