Format flips blossom at Lotus Communications in Las Vegas
You'll need a scorecard to follow the format changes for three Lotus Communications stations in Las Vegas. Starting March 3, KENO-AM (1460) will drop Fox Sports and pick up the Spanish-language ESPN Deportes. At the same time, KBAD-AM (920) will become the Fox Sports affiliate - dropping ESPN Sports talk. However, ESPN Sports won't be leaving Las Vegas, as KWWN-AM (1100) will flip the switch and carry ESPN. A staffer at Lotus Communications tells Radio-Info the rock formats on KXPT-FM (97.1) and KOMP-FM (92.3) in Las Vegas will remain the same. Lotus owns 24 radio stations in Arizona, Nevada, California, and Texas.
