Former Catskills, NY DJ busted for trying to illegally buy drugs
Former Highland, New York WRWD-FM (107.3) drive-time DJ Thomas Loehman was arrested by police, charged with illegally attempting to obtain drugs from a local hospital. Loehman, known as “Tommy Lee Walker” on the radio, was charged with six counts of forgery, a felony and six counts of falsifying business records, according to the Times Herald-Record newspaper. Loehman tried to use an alias to get drugs from a hospital doctor, but someone at Ellenville Regional Hospital recognized him as the former WRDW DJ, who had left the station late last year. The Radio-Info.com Hudson Valley (NY) board is talking about the arrest.
