Former Emmis executive Harry Clark to New York Public Radio
Clark will not have to change his travel habits for his new job as GM, Corporate Underwriting and Integrated Media Sponsorships at New York Public Radio. The studios of the non-commercial outlet are just a few blocks away from his former post, as Director of Strategy for Emmis Communications in lower Manhattan. NY Public Radio Vice President of Integrated Marketing Noreen O’Loughlin says, "As our audience increasingly engages with our brands and programs via an ever-expanding array of platforms ‘off-air’, NYPR needs a marketing-driven revenue evangelist to lead the sales organization and enable clients to seize new opportunities to reach public radio’s highly desirable and influential audience." With NYPR, Clark will lead the underwriting revenue strategy across the organization’s multiple media platforms, and work to grow the organization’s rapidly expanding digital and mobile offerings. New York Public Radio operates news/talk WNYC-AM/FM (820/93.9) & classical WQXR-FM (105.9).
