Former FEMA director Michael Brown to host nights on Denver's KOA-AM
You may remember when President George W. Bush proclaimed that then-FEMA Director Michael Brown was doing a “Heckuva job” managing the rescue and relief efforts during Hurricane Katrina. That very same Michael Brown is now the new evening talk show host on KOA (850). After some months of fill-in work, Brown officially takes over for Gunny Bob in the 7pm-10pm slot, who is no longer with KOA. While the KOA website does not list a bio for Brown, a Clear Channel press release says Brown “is currently writing a book, “Deadly Indifference,” about the politics of disasters,” and is living in Colorado with his wife.
