Former "Flashback" host Bill St. James teases a return in March
Bill's latest "open letter" is addressed "Dear America", and carries an update from the former 25-year host of the weekend Flashback show (now syndicated by Cumulus Media). Tongue in cheek, St. James says "Thanks for all the love. We heard you. Had we known you were that attached to us, we would have borrowed money from you long ago for that tanning parlor franchise deal. As it was, I had to borrow it from my Father in Law, who at least got a big loss to write off from his taxes. Now stop your whining. We're coming back with a whole new show, but the same bad attitude. You'll only have to wait 'till March. More details to come very soon." St. James' earlier open letter was in early January, following the last "Flashback" he would host for Cumulus. That one said "We've been considering reuniting 'the usual gang of idiots' on a new weekend adventure to perhaps heal our wounded nation, if you'll have us."Previous and Next Stories
