Former Salt Lake City DJ Larry Hunter facing 30 years for child porn
His relationship with Salt Lake’s KSOP-FM (104.3) lasted for 40 years, but that came to an end when the station was tipped off to his arrest. Now, 71-year old Larry Hunsaker, known as Larry Hunter on the air, could spend the rest of his life in jail after pleading guilty to two second-degree felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. The Deseret News reports prosecutors dismissed eight additional charges against Hunsaker, as a part of his plea deal. Hunsaker was targeted by authorities investigating child porn distribution. A search of his computer found a number of child pornography videos. He will be sentenced on January 22.
