He has spent the last 15 months in a New York City jail following his arrest on child rape allegations. Former WRKO, Boston (680) talk show host Reese Hopkins now plans on going before a judge and demanding a trial to clear his name. Hopkins was charged by New York City authorities with raping an 12 year old girl in his girlfriend’s apartment in 2004, and allowing her to watch porn videos. The Boston Herald reports Hopkins was offered a plea deal to a lesser charge that would have had him register as a sex offender, but he turned that down. Hopkins claime the charges are baseless.
