Ft. Wayne's "Joe FM" turns to "Truth" talk
Russ Oasis-owned WJOE (106.3) dropped the variety/classic hits at noon today to sport this new lineup: Mancow, Neal Boortz, Dennis Miller, Todd Schnitt, Michael Savage, Rusty Humphries, Jerry Doyle and Phil Hendrie. Oasis Radio Group says this is the first time Dennis Miller has been heard in the market, and the new “Truth” is welcoming Savage back to Ft. Wayne. The Columbia City, Indiana-licensed WJOE had been doing the “80s, 90s & Whatever” format for almost exactly two years, since late September 2008. The new Truth says it’s “Ft. Wayne’s first FM News/talk (not old-fashioned AM).” Phil Becker is the Ops Manager of the Oasis Radio Group, which also includes country “US93” WBTU and CHR “Hot 107.9” WJFX. Listen to the new “Truth” online here.
