Glenn Beck claims he may be going blind
The startling claim made by syndicated conservative and FOX News host Glenn Beck came at one of his “American Revival” meetings in Salt Lake City over the weekend. Beck told the crowd he has been diagnosed with macular dystrophy, saying “I went to the doctor because I can’t focus my eyes. He did all kinds of tests … he said ‘You could go blind in the next year … or you might not,’” and then took a swipe at the Obama health care plan by saying, “I went to the best doctor I could find, while I could still go to the best doctor I can find.” You can watch Beck’s comments, courtesy of Politics Daily here. Macular dystrophy is described as a relatively rare disorder that causes a progressive loss of vision.
