Glenn Beck expands deal with Simon & Schuster, will have his own imprint
"Mercury Ink" is the name of a new "co-publishing" division working in cooperation with CBS Corporation-owned Simon & Schuster. Mercury Radio Arts' SVP of Publishing Kevin Balfe will oversee the arrangement, and handle acquisitions of new properties. Mercury Ink allows the syndicated radio host to select and promote “books and authors that he is passionate about, across a variety of genres.” The
first project is already being announced: a young-adult book named “The Prisoner of Cell 25”, penned by
established author Richard Paul Evans. Simon & Schuster helped Beck become one of the few authors to have had #1 best-sellers in both fiction and non-fiction, and they are renewing and expanding their relationship.Previous and Next Stories
