Glenn Beck forced to leave Wednesday's radio show by an attack of appendicitis
The sudden and severe pain hit him live, during his Premiere Radio-syndicated program, and led to an emergency appendectomy. Beck missed his early-evening Fox News Channel show and will presumably be off the air while he recuperates. Complications from Beck’s January 2008 hemorrhoid surgery produced a much-viewed YouTube clip taped at a hospital, where a woozy Glenn Beck rambled on about the poor medical care and the pain he was enduring.
