Glenn Beck takes a loss on selling his Connecticut home
Beck originally bought the mansion in New Caanan, Connecticut for $4.2 million five years ago, and put it on the market for $4.9 million. But in the end he accepted a $3.6 million offer. Beck is planning to move to a much larger 7-bedroom home in the suburbs of Dallas where he'll pay $20,000 monthly for a mansion, complete with a pool in a state with less taxes to pay. Beck recently made headlines when he claimed he and his family were harassed at an outdoor movie night in Manhattan's Bryant Park. His afternoon Fox News TV show came to an end last week. Beck will keep an apartment in Manhattan. You can see a YouTube video of Beck's new suburban Dallas home here.
