Glenn Beck’s 2-hour video show launches today on GBTV
Beck already has 230,000 paying subscribers, says the Wall Street Journal, with the monthly rate being $9.95 a person. At that rate, Beck could make much more money than the estimated $2.5 million he banked from Fox News Channel. The Journal says the online GBTV portal "is on track to take in more than $20 million in revenue in its debut year." Beck says "GBTV is not for slugs...it's news for people who want to get involved and play a role in saving our country." The Journal compares Beck's 230,000 online subscribers to the average 156,000 people who watched Oprah Winfrey's OWN cable channel in June.
