Glenn Beck's FOX News ratings continue to fall
Slated to leave at the end of this month, it appears syndicated talk show host Glenn Beck could be leaving Fox News on a down note. The May Cable TV ratings show Fox News still topped both CNN & MSNBC combined in total viewers, and the numbers continue to grow for Fox News anchor Shepard Smith. Both Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity saw their evening shows gain in overall viewers as compared to the same time one year ago. However, Glenn Beck's afternoon show that showed a serious decline, losing 17% in total viewers and 33% of its demo viewers as compared with May 2010. Another positive for Fox News - their "Fox & Friends" morning show was cable's top morning show again, remaining #1 for 115 straight months. TVNewser has a list of the top cable TV shows for May, 2011 here.
