Global Traffic Network drives home a revenue increase for their latest quarter & the year
While Global Traffic Network is based in New York, it provides traffic reports and other programming in Canada, England and Australia. GTN reports fourth quarter revenue up 23% from the same time a year ago, boosted by their newly acquired operations in the U.K. Otherwise, revenues from Australia & Canada operations were down sharply, also attributed to a stronger US dollar. Chairman, CEO & President of Global Traffic Network William L. Yde III says “sales continue to be softer in Canada and Australia than we achieved during the first two quarters of this fiscal year. The current economic conditions have had a negative impact on the markets in which we operate.” GTN operates the largest traffic network in Australia & England, and operates in eight Canadian markets.
