Governor Patrick & new Senator Brown will headline Charley Manning's first day on Boston's WRKO
The newest talk show host on WRKO-AM (680) is getting out of the gate running, with the two biggest names in Massachusetts politics right now as his guests. Charley Manning takes the mid-afternoon slot from the syndicated Rush Limbaugh, who will be his competition on the brand new all-conservative “Rush Radio” WXKS-AM (1200). Manning will have on his first show Bay State Governor Deval Patrick, a Democrat, and new Senator Scott Brown, a Republican who took the seat once held by the late Ted Kennedy. Manning is a GOP consultant who served two former Massachusetts governors, including Mitt Romney, a potential 2012 GOP presidential candidate. You can listen to WRKO by clicking here.
