Heather Walters will host the re-branded "Pop Radio Countdown"
The "The Weekly Pop 20" will be re-branded and have a new host in May. Ann Duran will end her two-year run as host of the syndicated countdown. The show will then change names and bring in a new host, re-named as "The Pop Radio Countdown with Heather Walters," with a launch date of May 7. Executive Producer Casey Mac says, "This new show really targets the Hot AC and AC station whose rotation includes the hottest adult pop hits of the 80's, 90's and Now. Heather brings an upbeat and fun element to this show as she counts down only the best hits." Walters comes to the show from New York City's CBS Radio-owned WWFS-FM "Fresh" (102.7), where she's been the midday DJ for the past four years.
