Howard Stern says a "rights thing" is keeping his show off the popular new Sirius XM iPhone app
Though some suspect that the satellite radio operator may have plans to market a separate “Stern app”, for an additional fee. Stern himself observes that it can’t be a question of his content, since the new app gives subscribers access to the Playboy Channel. ZDNet quotes Stern saying philosophically, “So we’re not on it. Maybe some day we will be.” Also missing from the popular new app for iPhones and iPod touch – Major League Baseball, the NFL and NASCAR.
