Idaho DJ pleads guilty to child porn possession

Ryan Chambers enters a “guilty” plea to felony possession of child pornography, and faces up-to 10 years in prison. The 27-year old Moscow, Idaho resident and former midday host & program director of Pullman, Washington’s KZZL-FM (99.5) resigned from the station on Monday, a day before his scheduled appearance in Federal court. Authorities allegedly found thousands of explicit images on his computer, and reports say the children in many of the videos and photographs were between ages 6 and 10. Chambers was caught up as a suspect when authorities found him in a file sharing program. Inland Northwest Broadcasting tells Radio-Info the situation regarding Chambers “caught us completely by surprise,” and Randy Byers, the morning co-host on KZZL, will take over PD duties in an interim basis.
